Eben-Ezer Christian School seeks to glorify our God by assisting parents in providing students with an excellent Reformed Christian education, while equipping students for service in the Kingdom of God as ambassadors of Christ.
We have been serving our Lord and community since September, 1973. The school society purchased the former Taylor Avenue Public School and moved it to our current location on McNaughton Ave, in Chatham.
Due to great blessings over the years, our school has grown, but our foundation and goals have remained the same. As a school, we are scriptural, based on the infallible Word of God. We affirm the great truths of the Protestant Reformation as summarized in the Three Forms of Unity (the Heidelberg Catechism, the Canons of Dort, the Belgic Confession) and the Westminster Confession. We strive to be consistent with the God-centred teaching received at home and church.
EECS is also a Parental school who believes in Community .
We are a community of generational support who work together in the important nurturing of God's children, all with the same goal: raise children who love God and desire His Kingdom. In the Eben-Ezer community, it is vital that school, home and church all diligently work together to train God’s children.
We allow many opportunities for parents to be involved in school life. From serving on committees and chaperoning school trips to helping coach sports teams, we encourage your involvement!
